Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 April 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CloudSec:TbV, operated by CloudSec TbV ("we", "us", or "our"). By subscribing to the service you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
CloudSec:TbV is a managed AWS security posture scanning service. We perform automated monthly security checks against your AWS account using a read-only IAM role you provide, and deliver the findings as a PDF report by email.
The service is provided as-is for informational and security awareness purposes. It is not a substitute for professional security advice or a full security audit.
2. No Guarantee of Compliance or Audit Outcomes
CloudSec:TbV is a visibility and awareness tool. Use of the service does not guarantee that your AWS environment meets the requirements of any regulatory framework, certification scheme, or audit standard, including but not limited to SOC 2, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, GDPR, or HIPAA.
Reports produced by the service reflect the findings of automated checks at the time of the scan. They do not constitute a professional security audit, legal advice, or compliance certification. You remain solely responsible for achieving and maintaining compliance with any applicable laws, regulations, or standards.
3. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the authority to grant cross-account access to your AWS account
- Providing accurate account details during onboarding
- Maintaining the IAM role in your account for the duration of your subscription
- Acting on findings reported in your security posture report
4. Payment Terms
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Prices are in GBP and inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at hello@cloudtbv.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
6. Acceptable Use
You may only use CloudSec:TbV to scan AWS accounts you own or have explicit written authorisation to scan. You may not use the service to scan accounts belonging to third parties without their consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, CloudSec:TbV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to security incidents occurring in your AWS account.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active customers of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
